The Central Election Commission conducted its session headed by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on February 10, 2005.
Firstly, Mr. Natig Mammadov, CEC Secretary reported on the draft of Instruction on the protection and record of the election documents related to the conduct of the Municipal Elections in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Commission adopted decision on the approval of the Instruction.
Later, Mr. Vidadi Mahmudov, another CEC Secretary reported on the sample of voter card. CEC approved the sample of the voter card.
At the session, it was also decided to make additions to the Regulation.
The Commission adopted decisions on making amendments in the compositions of some Constituency Election Commissions (Con.ECs).
Then current issues were discussed.
Representatives of IFES (International Foundation for Election Systems) and domestic mass media also participated at the CEC session.
