Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CEC) conducted its session headed by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on September 29, 2006.
Firstly, session minute adopted by the Commission, dated on September 16, 2006 was approved.
Later, Mrs. Svetlana Gasimova, CEC Deputy Chairman reported on the amendments in the composition of Samukh-Shamkir Con.EC # 102 and Mrs. Tamam Jafarova, CEC Commissioner reported on the amendment in the composition of Bilasuvar Con.EC # 66. CEC adopted decisions on the amendments in the composition of these municipalities.
Mr. Tofig Hasanov and Mr. Nizami Nadirov, CEC Commissioners reported on the appeal entered CEC related to repeat, by, new and first-time (newly-established municipalities) elections to some municipalities. Decision was adopted on sending one of the appeals to the relevant Con.EC on its determination. The investigation of another appeal is to be continued till  next session.
At the session, current issues were also considered.
At the CEC session, representatives of IFES (the USA) and mass media also took aprt.

Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CEC) conducted its session headed by MR. Mazahir Panahov on September 16, 2006.
Firstly, session minute adopted by the Commission on September 12, 2006 was approved.
Later, Mrs. Svetlana Gasimova, CEC Deputy Chairman reported on making amendments in the composition of Imishli-Beylagan Con.EC # 60 and CEC adopted decision on making amendments in the composition of this Con.EC.
Mr. Fuad Javadov, CEC Commissioner reported on the appeal entered CEC related to repeat, by, new and first-time (newly-established municipalities) elections to some municipalities in the Republic of Azerbaijan, appointed on October 6, 2006. The appeal was decided to be sent to the relevant Con.EC on its determination.
Mr. Natig Mammadov, CEC Secretary reported on the appeal entered CEC by Azerbaijan National Committee of Helsinki Civil Assembly related to repeat, by, new and first-time (newly established municipalities) elections to some municipalities. The appeal of this body was rejected because it was non-governmental organization functioning in the filed of elections.
At the session, current issues were also considered.
At the CEC session, representatives of IFES (International Foundation for Election Systems) and mass media also took part.

Firstly, session minute adopted by the Commission, dated on September 5, 2006 was approved.
Later, Mrs. Svetlana Gasimova, CEC Deputy Chairman and Mr. Natig Mammadov, CEC Secretary reported on making amendments in the composition of some Con.ECs. CEC adopted decision on making amendments in the composition of Absheron Con.EV # 45 and Khankendi Con.EC # 122.
At the session, current issues were also considered.
At the CEC session, representatives of mass media also took part.

Firstly, session minute adopted by the Commission, dated on August 21, 2006 was approved.
Later, Mrs. Svetlana Gasimova, CEC Deputy Chairman, Mr. Natig Mammadov, CEC Secretary and Mr. Rovshan Ismayilov, CEC Commissioner reported on making amendments in the composition of some Con.ECs. CEC adopted decision on making amendments in the composition of Absheron Con.EC # 45, Khachmaz village Con.EC # 56, Shamkir city Con.EC # 98 and Samukh-Shamkir Con.EC # 102.
At the session, current issues were also considered.
At the CEC session, representatives of mass media also took part.
